It might not look like much, but this pipe is one of the most important things in the UK.
The pipe was constructed in WWII to transport aviation fuel safely across the country underground – protecting it from German bombers.
Since the war it has been expanded, and now fuels almost every major airport in the country…
…including military runways.
That is why this massive pipe network is also a secret – no one outside of the government knows the exact location of all the pipes.
