The Senna is McLaren’s most excessive road car to date. And it packs a punch: expect top speeds in excess of 320kph and acceleration from zero to 96kph in around 2.5 seconds. The lightest McLaren since the F1, the new supercar weighs just 1,198kg and boasts a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing 800PS and 800N/m. The result is a barely comprehensible power-to-weight ratio of 688PS-per-tonne.
WIRED went to check out the Senna with vehicle line director Andy Palmer to find out more about the supercar's design.
